WHOLESALE TERMS & CONDITIONS

In order to maintain the lowest prices in the business we must set certain terms and conditions which help us keep our prices low for everyone.

FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS: Please supply us with your resale certificate and tax number on your letterhead.

MINIMUM ORDER & REORDER: In order to acquaint you with our product, initial order must be at least $500. Reorders must be at least $750.00.

BACKORDERS: Backorders below $150 will be cancelled unless you choose to wait until the item arrives and agree to pay the shipping.

PALLET CHARGE: $5.00 per 40" x 48" pallet and $9.00 per 48" x 48" pallet. Extra heavy duty block pallets may be extra.

TERMS: accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Credit card orders are not billed until the day of shipping and then only for products shipped. Net 30 payment terms are available upon credit approval and minimum purchase requirements. To help keep your costs down payment on Net 30 invoices must be made by check. Payment is due within 30 days of Pottery Express' SHIP date. We do not accept COD orders.

DISCOUNTS: FAILURE TO PAY IN FULL WITHIN THE TERMS OF AN INVOICE WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF ANY AND ALL DISCOUNTS. A REVISED INVOICE WILL BE ISSUED AT THE FULL PRICE.

RETURN CHECK FEE: $30.00

RE-CONSIGNED OR REFUSED SHIPMENTS: The customer is responsible for all additional freight charges on re-consigned shipments. All refused shipments are subject to a 20% restocking charge & freight charges both ways.

ORDER CANCELLATION: Orders are packed in advance of the shipping date, therefore orders are not considered canceled unless we receive phone or e-mail notice five (5) business days prior to ship date.

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE: Visible damages must be noted at time of delivery on the carrier's receipt. Crates or pallets should be inspected at time of delivery before signing delivery receipt. If external damages are found they must be noted on the delivery receipt. In the case of obvious, severe damage to the entire shipment you may refuse the shipment.

In the event of hidden damages you MUST contact Pottery Express within 5 days of receipt of merchandise to report damages, quality problems, or any other dissatisfaction. Save these items as you may be required to email photographs of the damaged item and make items available for pickup by shipping company. Unauthorized returns will be refused at our docks and returned to the sender. We will replace or credit you for your loss provided the above guidelines have been met. Unless these steps are taken the recipient takes full responsibility for the processing of any claim with the shipping company that delivered the product.

HANDCRAFTED PRODUCTS: Please remember that because our items are handmade, they will vary slightly in size and color. That is the beauty of a handmade product. The customer acknowledges that hand made goods are inherently imperfect and vary in size, finish and dimension. We make every effort to inspect our goods before shipping to assure quality.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: International orders must be paid by credit card or wire transfer in US currency prior to shipping.

PRICES: Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Pottery Express Customers agree to pay all charges incurred for goods and services supplied, and all charges incurred must be paid according to the credit terms on our invoices or, if none appear, according to terms of Net 30. Payments not made by said date or earlier, shall render the account delinquent, and interest shall be charged at the rate of 2% per month or 24% per year. Customer(s) further agree to pay all reasonable collection costs, attorney fees and court costs, as permitted by law, as such are incurred by Pottery Express, in the collection of amounts due. In the event suit is filed to enforce payment, it is agreed the venue will be the County of Charlotte, Punta Gorda, FL. Also, Pottery Express shall have the right to withhold further deliveries and/or sales to the Customer(s) until past due balances are brought current, and shall have no liability whatsoever, from any direct or indirect loss suffered by the Customer(s) in such event.
